Geoff grew up in a small farming community in Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska, graduating with a B.A. degree in business. In 1972, Geoff received his MBA in finance and investments from the University of Nebraska as well. While working as an investment analyst during grad school, he learned he was fascinated with investments and had a keen interest in helping people navigate the often confusing world of investing while attempting to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Geoff began his career with Dain Bosworth, a large regional broker dealer, and later was affiliated with E.F. Hutton and Raymond James and is now a registered representative with J.W. Cole Financial, Inc. He also built his own investment advisory practice prior to his journey to New Era Financial Group, Inc. in 2003.
Today, Geoff participates in a network of CPA’s and estate planning attorneys. He enjoys working with other independent professionals and offering his clients a team that can provide them professional advice and specialized expertise. He particularly enjoys focusing on a client’s values, goals, and investment priorities.
Geoff resides in Edina, MN with his wife, Nancy. They enjoy spending time with their three adult children and their families. His personal interests include politics, bible study, mentoring adolescents, and golf.
