Benjamin Johnson

Advisor

Ben Johnson joined New Era Financial in 1995.  He is married to Michelle and has two children, Grace, and Peter.  After interviewing with several financial services firms, Ben chose to work for New Era Financial.  Three major reasons why he joined the firm in 1995 and still remains with the firm are:

  1. New Era Financial is an independent firm.  Ben has nothing in his briefcase that you (the client or prospect) have to own (good or bad).  Each client has different goals and objectives therefore working with an independent firm and advisor fosters an environment that provides both freedom and flexibility to create an ideal plan or plans to accomplish whatever the goals and objectives are of the client.
  2. Ben has the ability to build his clientele anyway he chooses.  From clients who own a successful business to professional athletes to retirees to executives at Fortune 500 firms, his clients are clients that choose to work with Ben and he with them.  The majority of Ben’s clients are in similar situations to him.  His personal financial goals include creating and funding a plan that will provide him the ability to retire when he chooses. He also wants to set aside funds for his two children’s education.  The strategies and recommendations he gives his clients are almost always similar to those he has been utilizing in the past to achieve his goals.
  3. Living a balanced life, both personally and professionally is important to Ben.  There is not a “silver bullet” or single answer or product that will meet everybody’s financial goals and objectives.  Portfolios and plans need to have the proper balance to maintain proper levels of safety and performance throughout various market cycles.  Relationships take time to grow and strengthen.  Over the course of many meetings and years Ben wants to be an advocate for you and your family and develop both a business relationship with you and a friendship.  Who better to guide you during life’s financial ups and downs than an advisor and friend?  From helping to save for a child’s or grandchild’s education to setting up a retirement plan for your company to encouraging you to save more or spend more, Ben wants to help you create financial balance in your family life.
